Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Pastaprintable version of this recipe (with images)

1 lb chicken breast, chopped
1 (11 1/2 ounce) can of cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup hot sauce for buffalo wings (I like the Archer Farms brand from Target, which has no HFCS)
6 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded (about 1 1/2 cups)
1/2 cup blue cheese salad dressing
1 1/2 cups sour cream
3 cups penne
Season chicken with salt and pepper and put it in the slow cooker. Add the chicken soup
and hot sauce and stir. Cook on LOW 4-6 hours or HIGH 2-3. Stir in cheese, salad
dressing and sour cream and turn off the slow cooker. Boil pasta according to package
instructions, drain well and add to the chicken sauce mixture. Stir well and serve with
salad and plenty of crusty bread.

After making this once, I realized that it's just a *little* too spicy for my younger kids, so now I don't mix the pasta into the sauce, but I top it with the sauce.
I have also made it on the stove top, sauteing the chicken, then adding the the soup and buffalo sauce. Allow it to simmer for a few minutes, just until it's hot and add the other ingredients. I've even used canned chicken in a pinch.
It *always* turns out tasty.

So I didn't have sour cream or cream of chicken so I am using Alfredo sauce and home made buffalo sauce instead. Along with the rotisserie chicken pulled and added to the sauce. May add milk but we will have to see...
